Product Overview
This deluxe edition includes 3 bonus tracks at the same SRSP as the previously-released standard album: “Gethsemane,” “Oh Shout for Joy (The New Hundredth),” and “Echoes of Heaven (Wedding Song).”

As Keith and Kristyn Getty continue to write modern hymns for the church, this newest collection comes from the challenge to consider not just what we sing from Sunday to Sunday when we’re all together but how the shared lyrics of our faith speak into all the private moments in between. Musically, Hymns for the Christian Life reflects both the Celtic and American folk traditions, old and new world brought together, just as we lean on the rich legacy of Church music we already have with songs written for the life of the Church today.

About Keith & Kristyn Getty
Keith and Kristyn Getty are renowned modern hymn writers from Northern Ireland. One of Keith’s most popular compositions, “In Christ Alone,” (co-written with Stuart Townend) is the #1 most-sung hymn in the UK since 2006 (CCLI) and among the top 20 most-sung hymns in the United States, Canada, and Australia. Songs from the Getty catalog are sung by an estimated 100 million people annually in churches around the world. The duo has released multiple albums and performed at notable venues as diverse as London’s Royal Albert Hall, Carnegie Hall, and the Grand Ole Opry. The Gettys met in Belfast, Northern Ireland when they began songwriting together. They were married in 2004, and two years later, they recorded their first project as a couple in the United Kingdom and Nashville, TN. In 2006, they made the journey overseas to America and lived in Ohio for three years as they began their professional career. They moved to Nashville in 2010.
